My Story

I began my career playing for the NFL. As I wrapped up that chapter of my life, I needed a pivot. I was a high school football coach for 9 years before I started getting the itch to be an entrepreneur. I had always enjoyed being around construction—I admire carpenters’ craft, my skillset is in project management, creating value for the team, interacting with customers. After learning under others’ guidance for a few years, this year I took the leap to launch my business.

BSC has really accelerated my business. I instantly learned so much about the industry; how to look at floor plans, how to bid, how to manage a crew. They helped me win one of my first projects, an apartment gut rehab in Oak Park for an agency with whom I hope to earn repeat business. They’ve increased my confidence and made me a better leader in the field.

Our Shared Impact

I plan to spend the next year mastering the residential market, especially full apartment rehabs. As I build a high-performing team, we’ll transition to commercial work. I plan to engage BSC to help me navigate those waters. Though I feel new to the industry, I’ve learned to embrace my strength managing projects and am encouraging my team to add business skills to their tradecraft. I’m recommending this program to contractors who have been in the field for 20 years. I want to see everyone grow and share the benefits I’ve enjoyed.
